WHO AM I?

Hi, I’m Maor — a proud Jewish American Israeli mom, a free spirit, and a lifelong creative. My journey has never followed the rules. I left behind my home and family in America at the age of 17 to join the IDF, where I discovered just how strong and capable I really am. I’ve always been a daydreamer, but I’ve also made a habit of turning dreams into reality. That’s what led me to pursue my passion for both art and education. I earned my B.Ed.Des — a Bachelor's in Education and Design — at WIZO in Haifa, all while working in non-formal education with teens on kibbutzim across Israel.

My creativity is rooted in my childlike imagination — the same spark that helped me connect deeply with the kids I worked with. It’s where my love for bold color, playful illustration, and storytelling began. For me, design has always been about creating something beautiful out of nothing — just like children do.
